Cottrell criminal hearing now set for March 17

Update Feb 18:
Vincent's preliminary hearing has been continued (again) to March 17 and the case has also been assigned to a new judge, Elisa Lancianca.  Apparently Judge Radano is Vincent's neighbor in Drexel Hill, which could be a factor in the new judge assignment.

Here's the new docket sheet which shows the Delaware County criminal charges against crooked contractor Vincent E. Cottrell:
Criminal Docket MJ-32253-CR-0000010-2016

Original Feb 4 post:
Criminal Docket MJ-32134-CR-0000003-2016 shows the charges against home improvement contractor Vincent E. Cottrell:
  • Receives Advance Payment For Services and Fails to Perform
  • Theft By Unlaw Taking-Movable Prop
  • Theft By Decep-False Impression
  • Receiving Stolen Property
  • Identity Theft
According to public information in the docket, Officer Timothy Deery arrested Cottrell and Asst. District Attorney Jessica Conley is the prosecutor representing Delaware County.

Judge Robert Radano continued a Feb 2 hearing and has now scheduled the first hearing for Feb 16 at 8:30am.

Vincent Cottrell is a small player in these scams. Where are the criminal charges against Shawn Gerety, John Kelly, Garvin Donaghy, John Maersch, and Jamie Wermuth?

Thefts by BuildTrend (owned by Shawn Gerety) and where Vincent was VP are much much larger than the 50k he is charged with stealing from a single family when he was representing or misrepresenting JD Kelly Corp. Many families and many multiple larger than the criminal complaint indicates.

What about Vince's other convictions. What alias is he using now? I knew him as Tom. Tom or Vince used to sell or pretend to sell DirectTv service to unknowing trusting people. The tone of your above post does not seem apologetic enough. Vince's victims are here. Not just the recent ones. He was found guilty and sentenced. Do not forget. I won't. I am looking forward to another conviction and more jail time.

I agree. Cue the new wife with the babe in the woods routine. Saying that Vincent is a good man. How many good men have alias's. Guess what ? You just do not know him yet. Eventually you will be on here saying how much he messed your life up. You always ask for these anonyms victims to reveal them selves. You don't. But the real question is. How much of a criminal do you need to be where you cant figure out the victims name? I Guess there is too many. We look forward to you joining us. Probably a couple months from now. Just go with the public defender. With the money you save. You can put in on his books at the lock up.

The fact is there is no victim and there is no crime!

Until someone posts something factual and reveals their real name we'll have to assume the individuals commenting are friends of The Drexel Hill Family as seen on the news, The Family themselves, or the Contractors who've lied to the detective and the DA.

This blog is not valid either since the individual who is the administrator only approves negative posts as a one sided strategy to continue to insight negativity against Mr Cottrell

Try to act civilized and wait for the facts to come out before posting malicious unwarranted comments
