Vince didn't seem to think change orders were so ugly when he worked out on project. We were given several throughout the process.

Only to reimburse half but kept the new BMW his wife has.. .....though she is aware of the deceit will not out of good conscience sell the car to make good on dead beat Vince's debt.....must have been love at 2nd sight after deceiving their first spouses..... corner of Foss Avenue across from the most honest man Judge Radano. Between his wedding/travel/cars clues are accumulating about where the payments we made for the project may have actually gone.

Cottrell is the third husband of the Mrs. Her first husband gave up all rights to his son and ran. Her second husband committed suicide in that home on Foss Ave ! Scamming primary spouses and their families are an understatement!
DeleteI know this family and Mrs. Cottrell.First, regarding the BMW - She bought the car in her own name while she was a Vice President at S telecom company and didn't need Mr. Cottrell's money for anything. Secondly, the comment about her first husband is rude, wrong & insensitive, her children were raised by a wonderful mother who endured many hardships. Her second husband committed suicide because she was going to divorce him after 13 years of alcoholism, abuse, cheating and gambling. Lastly, she and her children should be left out of this. You're the shallow person for stooping to this level, maybe it's because you have your own issues that you're looking to deflect away from. Look in the mirror, what you see staring back at you is evil and ugly.

Check public records for Lawsuit - Trend Consulting Group vs Buildtrend and you'll find public lawsuit records that show Vincent Cottrell and his company were hired as a third part project management support team and are not liable nor affiliated with Buildtrend, Shawn Gerety, or any/all of Shawn Gerety's/Buildtrend's actions or business practices, same can be said for any/all faulty contractors mentioned

* Mr Cottrell has never been a VP of Buildtrend or an employee of Buildtrend in fact Mr Cottrell and his company were contracted as a third party project management agency in fact Mr Cottrell has been awarded a judgement through a lawsuite against Shawn Gerety and Buildtrend as Mr Cottrell paid money out of his own pocket during exit to ensure all projects he managed were brought to completion to which Shawn Gerety and Buildtrend defaulted on payment plan to repay Mr Cottrell dor said monies,to which Shawn Gerety and Buildtrend have since satisfied the judgement.
(Note: Mr Cottrell and his company terminated its contractual relationship with Shawn Gerety and Buildtrend over 18 months ago)
Additional Misleading Information which is defamation liable and/or actionable by law:
* Use of Mr Cottrell's and his wife's photos without consent
* Spreading misleading non factual information about Mr Cottrell to which blog writers and commenter's have accused Mr Cottrell of being a party to some sort of conspiracy to defraud contractors which is completely false to which Mr Cottrell and his company deny wholeheartedly since Mr Cottrell and his company did everything within it's power to mange the project's it was contracted to manage on behalf of Buildtrend and Shawn Gerety all contractors, trades, and sub contractors made a conscious decision to do business with Shawn Gerety and Buildtrend directly to which Mr Cottrell and his company held no risk as Mr Cottrell and his company are a third party construction project management agency which was communicated to each and every trade, vendor, and subcontractor.
It is important to note: mostly all contractors, trades, and vendors were already in place and had ongoing contractual relationships with Shawn Gerety and Buildtrend before Mr Cottrell and his company were contracted by Shawn Gerety and Buildtrend and each had ongoing business relationship with the other far before Mr Cottrell and his company were contracted to manage projects.
The list continues as it is apparent that absolutely no research was done before blog was created and/or bloggers listed comments about Mr Cottrell and his company herein.
Please know Mr Cottrell and his company are powerless to manage projects if contractors fail to follow through with their responsibilities and/or perform contracted scope of work at which point Mr Cottrell and his company must remove itself from it's contractual relationship with any and/or all contractors that do not hold themselves to the highest standards as Mr Cottrell and his company prides itself with the highest integrity and standards to ensure all projects are managed well to completion, which is precisely what Mr Cottrell and his company did some 18 months prior.
We recommend taking down all information and photos of Mr Cottrell and his company at once or face legal action which is eminently in motion.
Vincent is a convicted scam artist. The court dockets where he was found guilty are on this blog. It was a plea.Good luck trying to defend that. Too late.No defense. Facts:
* Vincent Cottrell was authorized to sell and bind contractor to contracts
* The Contractor Lied about his contractual working relationship with Mr Cottrell
* The Contractor in question threw Mr Cottrell under the bus as a tactic to shield himself from liabilities associated with walking away from the project in question
* There was Zero Due Dilligence performed by the detective or the authorities, meaning their case rests on the inconsistencies of the contractor's false statements.
*Mr Cottrell has not had an opportunity to present his side of the story nor provide documents which clearly show his innocence in black and white documentation
* The matter in question was settled with the home owners in question, meaning they were repaid deposit monies and a mutual release was signed, meaning the fact that the home owner's in question engaged in an interview on the local news station and gave a statement to the media outlets is a 100% breach of contract
* Mr Cottrell is not the contractor his company provides an outsourced sales and construction project management service as a 1099 contracted agency to help contractors and developers scale their business
We advise you retain council and cease and desist from making any further allegations or false statements against Vincent Cottrell

What about Vince's other convictions. What alias is he using now? I knew him as Tom. Tom or Vince used to sell or pretend to sell DirectTv service to unknowing trusting people. The tone of your above post does not seem apologetic enough. Vince's victims are here. Not just the recent ones. He was found guilty and sentenced. Do not forget. I won't. Mr Cottrell has paid for his past errors and lapse in judgement though does not acknowledge your comments as being credible. Most folks that claim to be "Victims" from Mr Cottrell's past errors were actually the beneficiary of such errors. By the way the past is the past it does not define the person Mr Cottrell has become.
The charges you speak of were filed in 2007 though by the time all was said and done it took almost three years to have the cases from PA merged and settled in 2010
There's something to be said for second chances to which Mr Cottrell has taken his second chance very seriously.
The fact is, Mr Cottrell is a good man!
Once all of the facts have been presented we are confident that the truth will come out to show Mr Cottrell is 100% innocent of the allegations against him and we look forward to seeing Mr Cottrell exonerated of all charges against him.
In the meantime, please think hard about your comment and ask yourself is this the best use of your energy?
We wouldn't be surprised if this person commenting is someone who read Mr Cottrell's history or someone who is trying to get a reaction. This information you've posted is public knowledge.

Do you know for sure that Mr Cottrell did what you're accusing him of? Or are you basing your comments and judgements on what you've heard or read in the news media?

The Home Owners listed in the media as victims were paid back their monies over six months before charges were filed, though the news media ran with a story based on the lies told by the contractor, who is not Mr Cottrell.
A subpeana has been served to the blog host Blogspot so please state your name for the record so we can include your name in the defamation lawsuit.
Mr Cottrell has done nothing wrong, he has been falsely accused and his life and business have been completely ruined due to an overzealous DA who did zero research and a news media that ran with a story they were instructed to run by the DA.
Mr Cottrell is being bullied by the power of a political judicial system who wants to show the appearance of due diligence and a show of force in protecting the community being tough on contractor fraud. The problem is they directed their aggression towards the wrong person, they should be interviewing the contractors.
No matter what, it does not make it ok for people to write the comments they've written. We'll ask again, please reserve your judgments until all the facts have been presented.
Vincent, if you are a "good man" and want to make this right, return the money to the people you stole from.

Mr Cottrell has never been a principal of the contractors in question.
Every project Mr Cottrell sold and managed was brought to completion
Again there is no money to be paid back by Mr Cottrell since there is no crime
We're going to assume anyone posting to this blog as anonymous is the contractor, the Drexel Hill family, or friends of either.
The fact is there has not been one credible factual post on here since this blog started! All we're seeing is angry people jumping on the bandwagon.
Post as yourself and list facts or not at all!
