Look at Cottrell's twitter page from the day he plead guilty "Adversity introduces a man to himself - Albert Einstein" Some deep philosophical introspection while he contemplates a return to the slammer.

What a shame that law enforcement is more than 2 years behind the criminals... Anybody know the range of sentences possible? Where is the justice for the Drexel Hill family he stole from? They'll never have peace of mind again but have they at least gotten their money back?

I don't think he did. Right now he's still sponging off Iulia, who got a job teaching. He probably sits around her house all day surfing the net, trying to figure out some new scams. Although she claims to hate America and Americans, I feel sorry for her marrying a middle-aged con man who has abandoned his two teenaged sons. He'll never make an honest living and they will always have to be looking over their shoulders. Trust me, more trouble is brewing, and it's federal this time. He will never come back voluntarily.

You people write comments that are not factual - all to what get your pound of flesh from Vincent?

Vincent has conducted himself like a gentleman throughout this entire process.

The charge is Misdemeanor 1 Theft by Failure to properly dispose of a financial instrument which is a far cry from the 7 felonies Vincent was originally charged with - read between the lines people - yes Vincent has a prior record , yes the DA listened to a contractor that lied and a homeowner who had no gripe since they were made whole through a civil settlement made 1 full year before criminal charges were filed - This matter was settled civilly
    Public Record

So why 1 misdemeanor? Especially with Vincent's previous record - can't you read between the lines here? Vincent was innocent, he was bullied by an overzealous criminal justice system, made a scape goat, and bullied into taken a deal so that folks would not have egg on their face

    PERIOD

At the end if the day Vincent didn't set up an escrow account - but when parties The Drexel Hill Family decided to split ways and cancel their contract
With Vincent and his company Vincent settled with the home owners and paid back the deposit monies as part of a negotiated civil settlement one year before criminal charges were filed.

One count misdemeanor 1 Failure to properly dispose of a financial instrument (Escrow Account)

    PERIOD

    1. "Vincent was innocent" ?

The public record actually shows that Vincent pleaded guilty to criminal theft.

Please provide support for your claims here that the Drexel Hill family and homeowners he stole from have been made whole.
